Imagine being
in a classroom with your favorite teacher and having he or she accuses you of stealing their book. This happens to several
people and no one has the guts to stand up for them. Even though it is difficult, the benefits of standing up for others are
far more important.
One benefit of helping people is that they don’t feel like he or she is a lier. a personal
story that I can relate to is when a friend of mine was accused of stealing a book from the teacher and all the students kept
their mouth shuts besides me. I couldn’t let one of my classmates get accused of doing something they didn't do. When
people get accused of a crime that they never committed it is hard to stand up for themselves. I stood up for her and then I
was accused of stealing the book. I laughed and said " I love to read". The teacher shut his mouth and later the person that
committed the crime turned their selves in.
In conclusion standing up for your friends sure does make you feel good
and it lets your friends know that your are there for them. I couldn't feel more complete about being a friend when this occurred.
